Originally founded in 1999 as the Onehunga Chinese Community Association and officially registered in 2014, the organization was restructured as the New Zealand Chinese Association Foundation in 2025. It is a non-profit community group governed by a formal constitution and internal regulations. The Foundation’s leadership is renewed every two years through board elections. Today, after decades of growth, our membership has reached 600 active individuals.
    新西蘭華人協會基金會，原Onehunga社區華人協會成立於1999年，正式註冊於2014年，2025年改制為新西蘭華人協會基金會，它是一個非盈利性質的群眾團體。有自己的章程和制度。協會理事會每兩年通過選舉換屆。經過多年的發展，目前擁有會員人數600人。
